THE MALINGERERS
Peterborough based and with two albums to their name, The Malingerers' music evokes a sound more at home in the south western US than the UK scene. Blending traditional American country, blues, folk and jazz with typically British and Irish flavours, think twisted harmonies and lyrics, wailing harmonica & fiddle, country picking, bouncing bass and shuffly snare and you’re almost there!

Back for 2016 in the full electric line-up, Dan, Paul, Gary & Mark will be bringing us a mix of classics from Hendrix to Neil Young via Ocean Colour Scene, together with self penned hard rocking tunes. Expect to be blown away and you won't be disappointed!

Expect to hear Tom Petty, The Allman Brothers, The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac....with male-female vocal interplay and intricate guitar work over a solid rhythm section we're in for a treat.

Fronted by veteran bluesman Brian Harris on bass & vocals, with Skip Saunders on drums and Ben Hurl on guitar, this is a powerhouse blues trio you won't want to miss. Authentic blues rock from the likes of BB King, George Thorogood, that Clapton bloke, John Mayall, Tommy Castro, Robert Cray.......

Something new for Extonbury 2016, Finding Georgia are a US themed band playing Country Rock. Superb vocalist and keyboardist Georgie's voice evokes the greatest modern female country stars such as Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, but with the power to stretch to Pat Benatar and Kelly Clarkson territory. Backed by Simon, Stewart, Steve & Carl on guitars, mandolin, bass, drums & backing vocals, all gifted & passionate musicians their own right, Finding Georgia will bring a little bit of country magic to Exton this summer!
